Chappell’s first opened in 1986 as a political and sports-themed bar & grill. It was an immediate success and it soon became evident that because of the excellent food, the emphasis needed to be changed from a bar & grill to an upscale casual family dining establishment.
Amazing Reuben sandwich! The corned beef was fantastic and very tasty and fries were good. Great sports bar atmosphere with tons of sports memorabilia!
If you're a sports fan definitely a place to go. Really cool sports vibe all kinds of KC sports memorabilia. The food was very good. big portions went with coworkers during lunch. All of the food was good i ordered a chicken sandwich very moist and flavourful.
My husband really enjoyed looking at all the sports memorabilia. The food and service were good. We went with a group, and we were seated in a back room. We were able to talk without bothering anyone.
